Frequently Asked Questions

Below you’ll find answers to the questions we get asked most about signing up, and managing your booking.

How do I set up a booking?

Head to www.ilovetour.co.uk and click on the blue ‘Group Leader Sign Up’ button.

How do I view my booking?

You can view your booking by using the ‘login’ button on the front page of our website. You can click on the ‘my trips’ section to access your booking.

Should I receive a booking confirmation?

These are sent within 30 mins of your booking being reserved through payment. Please check your junk folder before contacting us.

I have set up a group for my team, when will I get a link?

Your unique group link will be sent to you within 24 hours of set up. If you have not received within 24 hours, please call us on 0113 479 0989, option 1.

When will I get my tickets?

All e-tickets are sent out 7-14 days prior to your trip departing along with final information.

When do I get my damage deposit back?

If you have paid a damage deposit for your trip please note these are returned up to 31 working days after your request on return from the trip.

Who is the ‘Group Leader’?

The Group Leader is the person making the booking on behalf of the group. The Group Leader will receive a unique code/link and they can provide this to their team. Anyone who uses this code/link will be assigned to that group. They are responsible for making decisions on behalf of the group.

Members of my group have paid a deposit but I can’t see their booking?

Please contact ILOVETOUR@kaboodle.co.uk with your group name and their booking reference so that we can look into this for you.

Are there fancy-dress themes?

We will advertise themes for your evening’s entertainment; however, you are encouraged to get creative should you wish. Fancy dress is not compulsory, but you are likely to increase your enjoyment by 40% for every item of fancy dress you bring.

Can I sell my ticket if I can no longer travel?

Yes, you can make name changes on your booking, please note there is a charge to perform a name change on your account. See the terms of booking for your trip for more details. All requests for changes must be made in writing via email by the person who made the booking. All administration fees will be added to the booking and the balance will need to be cleared before any tickets will be sent out. Name change fees must be paid within 24 hours.

What is the difference between a Deposit and a Damage Deposit?

A Deposit reserves your place on the Tour and forms part of the main payment, coming off the total price of the base package. This is non-refundable.

A Damage Deposit is separate to your package. This covers you and your team for any damages you may be liable for while using the transport and being on Tour. Your Damage Deposit is refunded back to you after your trip minus any damage you may have caused. The majority of our Tourers tend to get all of their Damage Deposits refunded back to them.

What is the Booking Fee for?

You will find Booking Fees (BF) on all online booking platforms for tickets and festivals. These are not retained by ILOVETOUR but go to cover costs for our booking system provider Kaboodle. These costs include, but are not limited to, running their website, customer service lines, platform development, and staff wages. ILOVETOUR pays an additional fee to keep this cost down for its customers. All BF’s are non-refundable under any circumstances.

If I cancel, can I get a refund?

You can cancel at any time leading up to your trip but you will be subject to the trips cancellation charges which can be found in the terms and conditions. These charges can be anything from loss of deposit up to the full holiday cost depending on how close it is to your departure date.

How can I remove unwanted extras from my booking?

If you wish to remove any extras you will need to contact us on 0113 479 0989 or email ILOVETOUR@kaboodle.co.uk. Please provide your booking reference when contacting us and one of the advisors will notify you if there are any admin fees to remove the extra you no longer need.

Will there be any other extras that I can add to my booking?

YES! We are constantly evolving our products and events so any new extras and bolt ons for your trips will be advertised to you when they are released so you can decide if they will improve your experience.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of people that can sign up?

There is no minimum number for joining this trip, as it is an ‘AYOT’ package.

There are also no maximum numbers. You are only restricted by the number of places on a trip. Places are limited and many of our trips do sell out, so it is important that you and your group pay deposits as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Do I have to sign up under my University? Do I need to be a student to travel?

Our trips are available to anyone over the age of 18. There are some University specific arrangements we have in place with SU’s that we are in partnership with, so it is good to check in advance. If you would like to book as a group of friends, unaffiliated to a University, then you are welcome to do so.

I don’t know what extras I want for my booking, can I add them at a later date?

Yes. You can add extras at any point during your booking, and some can be paid for in resort. It is always best to check with your Group Leader or ILOVETOUR Rep as some of our extras such as the Boat Parties and Beer Pong Tournaments have limited numbers and can sell out in advance.

Do I need an EHIC/GHIC card?

It is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended. These allow you to get state healthcare at a lower cost and sometimes even free.
