From Strength to Strength

Fast forward to 2019, ILOVETOUR is now the biggest UK sports Tour company offering the ‘Essential Life Experience’ and going from strength to strength. We work with more sports teams, SU’s and AU’s every year than any other business and have teams from nearly every university in the country travelling on Tour.

Moving in to 2020 we were ready to make our mark, we’d improved our events and our set up, and we were ready to put out one of the biggest year’s to date… then Covid happened.

We won’t dwell on this chapter, it was hard for everyone, and we’ve had to fight to survive. We were proud of the staff AND the customers for how they handled it. Our communications were transparent and we were one of the few student companies to refund every person in full. Thank you to everyone that supported us through it.

2025 – Learn, adapt, overcome

Tour is a huge part of countless student’s university lives and an important milestone that they carry with them for many many years to come. It is steeped in tradition and very much embedded in the UK higher education culture – albeit very ‘fight club’ esque. If you are not on a sports team or society, it is very unlikely you know what Tour is… even though anyone can come!?

It becomes a bit of a rite of passage, particularly for certain sports clubs.

It’s a way to make new friends, strengthen existing bonds between people, expand students understanding of the world, and test the social boundaries of a new team. For many, it is the indisputable highlight of the year and something that MUST continue.

We’ve adapted our tours and remain agile to move with the times and make sure we can operate a top quality event for you, our customers.

Tour remains owned, run, and operated by staff that have a passion for events, a history with Tour, and a deep understanding of what it means to be on a committee of a sports team, doing your best to give your extended family memories to last a lifetime.

We care about your experience because those same experiences are what made us who we are today.
